The Allen Men's Basketball team lost their second game of the year on a buzzer beater 67-70. Allen's first game of the season also feaured a buzzer beating 3, which means 2 of Allen's 3 losses have been at the buzzer. Both teams struggled on the offensive end in the early going as neither team could find great rhythm on the offensive end. Colby took a slight advantage into the halftime break 32-27.

To start the second half the Red Devils offense began to click as Allen stormed back to take the lead. Allen appeared to be in control and pushed their lead up to 9 points midway through the half. Colby knocked down some big shots to cut into the Allen lead, and the Trojans took a 2 point lead into the final minute of play. Inside 20 seconds to play Allen got a clean look by Freddie Word from the 3 point line, the shot missed the mark, but Amadou Traore got an offensive rebound put back to tie the game at 67-67 with 10 seconds left.

Colby's Anthony Marshall went full court and nailed the game winning 3 with 2.1 seconds left in the game. Allen's half court attempt missed the mark, giving Colby the comeback victory in the second half.

Allen is now 3-3 on the season, and 2-2 in KJCCC play. Next the Red Devils will host #16 Dodge City in Iola Wednesday evening.
