Allen Loses to Colby

The Allen Men's Basketball team lost a wild game Saturday afternoon to Colby 87-91. It was the tale of two halves as Colby led 30-51 at the break, but Allen came all the way back in the 2nd half and cut it to a two point game with just under 7 minutes left to play. The Red Devils outscored Colby 57-40 in the second half, but could not complete the comeback.

Perry Carroll had his best game as a Red Devil and led Allen in scoring with 16 points, many of which came in the second half of play. Tyler Williams also had a good game for Allen with 15 points on 3-6 shooting from the 3 point line. Jacob Patterson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Darius Love and Jamaal Clifton also reached double digits scoring with 11 and 10 points respectively.

The Red Devils are now 2-5 on the season and 0-3 in Jayhawk Conference play. Allen will travel to Garden City for a road game on November 21st at 8:00 PM.
