Allen lost to Penn Valley Friday night by the score of 86-93. Allen led for the majority of the night, but turnovers and lack of defensive rebounding allowed Penn Valley to stay close. Penn Valley stepped up and made plays down the stretch, and Allen did not. Allen was led in scoring by EJ Garnes with 21 points. Garnes also dished out 6 assists in 35 minutes of play. Ahmad Winston also had a big game for the Red Devils. Winston scored 20 points, on 5 of 6 shooting from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first career double-double in college.

The Red Devils fall to 1 and 1 on the season. Allen will host Ottawa University JV on Saturday night at 7:00 PM.
