Men's Basketball defeated Ottawa JV

The Allen Men's Basketball team defeated Ottawa University JV on Saturday afternoon by the score of 88-62. Everyone on the active roster saw minutes for the Red Devils, and everyone also contributed in the scoring column. Allen got off to a quick start in the early minutes, pushing the lead to double digits, and never looking back. The outcome was never in question. Allen's minutes were balanced, as Jermaine Long logged the most game time with playing just under 24 minutes.

Jermaine Long was also the leading scorer for the Red Devils with 14 points on 5 of 12 shooting (2 of 5 from the 3 point line). Quentin Blaue reached double figures with 11 points, connecting on 3 of his 7 three point attempts. Jameel Henson and DaRon Mims also reached double figures with 10 points apiece. Allen shot 40% from beyond the arc, going 10 for 25 for the game. Overall, Allen shot 48% for the game, and out rebounded Ottawa by 19. 

Allen moves to 1-0 on the year, and will travel this Tuesday (11/3) to Labette Community College for a 7:00 PM tip-off.
