Red Devils win the series 3-4 over Carl Albert

 

Allen Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Carl Albert State College

 

Allen took the lead late and defeated Carl Albert State College 8-3 on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Allen  batting in the bottom of the sixth when Josh Prinner singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

In the first inning, Allen got their offense started. Alec Roberts doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Carl Albert State College evened things up at three in the top of the fifth inning. Carl Albert State College scored two runs when Burris doubled.

Levi Bennett pitched Allen to victory. The righty lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Brian Beers threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Hayes took the loss for Carl Albert State College. The pitcher allowed 13 hits and six runs over five innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Jacob Davenport started the game for Allen. The pitcher allowed two hits and one run over three and a third innings, striking out four.

Allen socked one home run on the day. Roberts went for the long ball in the sixth inning.

Carl Albert State College racked up six hits in the game. Burris and Irwin all managed multiple hits for Carl Albert State College.

 

Allen Takes Victory Over Carl Albert State College

 

Allen beat Carl Albert State College 9-4 on Saturday.

 

Carl Albert State College opened up scoring in the first inning. DeButy drove in one when DeButy singled.

 

Allen evened things up at two in the bottom of the second inning. Lukas Rich was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Allen took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Logan Easterling drew a walk, scoring one run and John Satterfield tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Jackson Blake earned the victory on the hill for AlleBlake allowed zero hits and zero runs over two-thirds of an inning, walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Paxton BryanPatrick BabcockSlade Renfrow, and Connor Clark all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Floyd took the loss for Carl Albert State College. The bulldog allowed six hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Josh Fluet started the game for Allen. The bulldog allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out four

Satterfield led the Devils with two hits in two at bats. Allen was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Damon Burroughs had the most chances in the field with eight.

Carl Albert State College scattered nine hits in the game. DeButyBurris, and Clark all had multiple hits for Carl Albert State College.
