Doug Desmarteau has been the head Men’s soccer coach at Allen Community College for the last 18 years, he was also the women’s head coach for 9 years.  While head coach Allen has won 3 conference championships, two region titles, and been to the final four of the region 9 times. He also has been the athletic director for the last nine years.  Before coming to Iola he was the head Varsity soccer coach for Manhattan High School for five years. While at MHS he compiled a record of 49 wins and 19 losses. The team captured three regional titles and one I-70 league championship. He was named Central Region Coaches Association Class 6A Coach of the year twice. He was also the Director of Coaching and Player Development for the Little Apple Soccer Club for 5 years.  Worked with the Kansas, Alaska, and Nevada Olympic development programs for over 15 years.  Doug holds a USSF national B license, has a BS degree in Mathematics from Kansas State University, and a MS in Sports Administration from Liberty University.  He currently resides in Iola, Ks. and is originally from Emporia, Ks.
