A hitting performance from Allen Community College?s Bailee Campbell highlighted the Red Devils? otherwise tough weekend.

Campbell, Allen?s freshman second baseman, racked up nine hits in 13 at-bats Friday and Saturday, driving in seven over the four games with two doubles, a grand slam and seven RBIs.

Red Devils went 1-3. Allen dropped both of its games on Friday, 10-0 to Eastern Oklahoma State College and 11-6 to Murray State.

Then, after blasting Moberly Area College 8-3 on Saturday, Allen wrapped up the weekend with a 9-1 loss to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

Campbell?s RBI single got things started in the top of the third.

Then, after Moberly tied the score at 1-1 in the fourth, Collins gave the Red Devils the lead for good with a two-run double in the fifth. She came around to score on an error for a 4-1 lead.

Moberly got a run back in its half of the fifth, but Campbell responded in the top of the next inning with a two-run double.

Madisyn Havenstein?s two-run blast in the top of the seventh capped the scoring.

Campbell wound up going 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Goehring had a single and triple with three runs scored. Collins had a double and two RBIs. Havenstein had a home run and two RBIs. Hendrix and Calyn Michaelis each singled.

Yardley got the win, surrendering seven hits over seven innings with five strikeouts.
