Gefte is originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He moved to the United States in 2007 and graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School in Florida. His love for soccer began at an early age through his brother Dackency Blanc’s involvement with the local team in Haiti. 

Gefte played for Miami Edison Senior high school for 4 years and was selected to play for Weston Academy in Miami FL. After he graduated high school, he went to play for Stony Brook University, a D1 School located in long Island, NY. After his freshman year in New York, he transferred to Cloud County Community College where he led the team to national tournament team in 2012-13 as a left back and forward. Blanc Started all 24 games for the T-Birds and scored a team-high 11 goals. Also, in 2013 NJCAA National Tournament, he became first-team All-Conference, All-Tournament Team Nations Tournament. After receiving his AA from Cloud County Community College, he transferred to Newman University where he finished his education and continued to play soccer. Blanc continued his collegiate career at Newman University from 2014-2016 before diving into coaching in 2016 with the Wichita Rojos, a youth club organization affiliated with Sporting Wichita Academy.

Gefte Blanc was coaching the youth team for Sporting Wichita Rojos. Right after graduating from Newman University, Gefte Blanc accepted to become an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer team at Cloud County Community College where he played in 2012-2013. As an assistant coach, for the first time in history, the women’s team from Cloud went to nationals and Cloud went 10-2 in conference and 15-5 overall. On the men’s side, they were 10-0 conference and 14-3 overall. Gefte has his Goalkeeper 1 and 2 license.

Gefte’s goal is to provide a safe, fun, interesting, and challenging environment where players can learn the game and develop themselves and sent them to four years school after they are done.  Blanc firmly believes that players who enjoy their experience will develop faster than those who do not.

Gefte Blanc and his wife Geraldine P Blanc reside in Overland Park KS with thier son Liam.
