Title: Associate Head Baseball Coach
Email: mileham@allencc.edu

Coach Mileham was born and raised in Northern California.  He is a proud 1992 graduate of Ponderosa High School in El Dorado Hills, California.  In 1993 he played college baseball for California’s Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, Mike Perez, and former Milwaukee Brewers minor league manager, Bernie Moncallo, at West Valley Community College.  Coach Mileham also played for California’s Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, Rod Beliby, at Cosumnes River College in the Big 8 Conference from 1994-1995.  Coach Mileham continued his education and received his BSE in Education from the University of Arkansas.

Coach is now in his 20th year of coaching and has had several successful stops in Arkansas, Colorado and Kansas.  The most notable Kansas coaching experience comes from his stint with the Wichita Wingnuts organization.  It was in Wichita that he worked with Kash Beachamp and Kevin Hooper and gained professional experience in the American Association.  While in Wichita, he coached in over 300 professional games, managed 9 games from 2008-2009 and had two American Association batting champions, two league MVP’s and a American Association 2009 Northern Division Championship.

In Mileham’s first full season as Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Allen, he saw the Red Devils post the best record in over a decade of baseball.  The 2021 team logged 32 wins and had six players earn All-Jayhawk honors.  Topping things off, Coach Mileham saw his first full recruiting class produce the 2021 Jayhawk Freshman of the Year, Levi Bennett.  Bennett also was awarded the honor of being named the Kansas Jayhawk East Most Valuable Player. The 2021 team beat #5 Cowley County and #9 Johnson County and earned three wins against top 10 ranked programs in the country.

Mileham’s professional accomplishments match a very successful high school experience in which he assisted with over 150+ players moving onto the next level. In his 19 years, he has had several players go in the MLB draft.  Coach Mileham assisted in bringing Elkins H.S in Arkansas its first ever State Championship in 2006.  Later in his high school experience he returned to Baum Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas for the 7A State finals in 2014 with Vance Arnold, Scott Gallagher and the Fayetteville Bulldogs.  Coach Mileham made 7 Arkansas State Tournament appearances while coaching in Arkansas.

This is Coach Mileham’s second stint in the Kansas Jayhawk Conference as he assisted Jeff Brewer and Cody Hooten at Pratt Community College in 2008.  This will be his second season with Coach Stoy and the Red Devils. Besides recruiting, he also serves as the team's hitting, infield and third base coach.  In his first Covid shortened 2020 season, the Red Devils (8-9) batted .339 in 17 games with 33 doubles and 17 hr’s. The team scored 140 runs in 17 games, averaging 8+ runs a game.

Coach Mileham resides in Iola with his wife, Julie, who works in the local school district as an elementary school counselor.  Their daughter, Lanie, is 7 years old and is going into 2nd grade.  His family is very grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact at the college and in the community of Iola.  When possible, the whole family loves to Ski Loveland, Colorado in the winter, and visit the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama during the summer.
